My family has always recognized the importance of volunteerism and giving back to our community. My mom works in philanthropy and teaches us about all of the ways in which we need to contribute to making the world a better place. My brothers and I have participated in several service projects over the years at Magellan’s annual project, Stop Hunger Now. I have also volunteered at Meals on Wheels, Caritas of Austin and Capital Area Food Bank.
