More than anything, I love sports. I love to be active and I’m super competitive. Through sports I have learned the important qualities of endurance, persistence, personal sacrifice, and what it means to be part of a team. It has also taught me more about leadership than I ever imagined. I started playing soccer when I was four years old and played competitive club soccer for many years. When I was 11, I fell in love with basketball and am now the captain of my 8th grade basketball team at Magellan. Although basketball takes up many of my waking hours these days, I also love martial arts, adventure/endurance races, and running.
My dad, two brothers, and I have run the Spartan Race twice now (2022, 2023). After a lot of training, I won 1st place in my division last year. It is one of my proudest accomplishments.
