I love languages and have learned them at home, at school, traveling, and through self-directed apps.  I was raised to value different cultures and languages because my family is bicultural and bilingual. My grandparents and much of my family only speak Spanish so I learned Spanish at a very young age. I have attended Magellan International School since the first grade and most of my education has been either in Spanish or Spanish/English simultaneously. I also have studied Mandarin since 3rd grade at school and I can read and write simplified Chinese characters and PinYin.
